View or Edit Accounts

To view or edit other accounts you can:

Exit and choose another account number.

.Select option "F" to view the next existing account in ascending numerical order

-or-

Select option "B" to view the account just previous to the one currently being viewed.

To edit the account you are viewing:

Select option "E."

You will be asked to enter a description, current amount and Y.T.D. amount, as when adding an account. For each question, you may just press Enter if you do not wish to make a change.

Make any changes you wish.

Warning: You may NOT change the definitions of any of the following accounts: 11000, 13000, 15000, 33000, 35000, 60000, 71000, 73000, 79000, and 81000. These accounts are used internally;

changing them will cause HOPE to malfunction.

Deleting an Account

To delete an account:

Bring the account you wish to delete on the screen.

Choose "D" to delete the account.

Warning: HOPE will not allow you to delete any of the accounts listed above. You

will find that there is no delete option for these accounts.

Listing the Chart of Accounts

You may list a selected range or the entire Chart of Accounts. It may be printed out or displayed on the screen. To list the entire Chart of Accounts:

Choose "List Entire Chart of Accounts" or press F1 from the screen above.

To list a selected range: Choose "List Selected Range in Chart of Accounts"

Indicate the range you wish listed by indicating the lowest and highest accounts numbers when asked.
