Calendar
The calendar is a central feature of the HOPE system. Normal calendar display shows the current month, with a large enough window for each day to show a portion of a message.
Data can be entered in any day very simply. Move the highlight to the day using the mouse or the Arrow keys. When the day is highlighted, press Enter. The cursor will appear in the scrolling window towards the bottom of the screen.

You may type up to 40 lines for a given date. Also, you may add additional lines to a day at any time. Pressing Esc will return you to the calendar, and you may select another date if desired.
Pressing certain numbers while on a particular date will cause the actions described below.
1) Do Today's Jobs - This action will bring up a new window, with possible jobs related to the notes for the highlighted date.
2) Show Sales Menu - Goes directly to the Sales Menu.
3) Other Tasks - Goes directly to the To Do Menu.
4) Choosing this number gives an array of choices for views, including full day view and week long weekday view, as well as specific jobs which are done more often, such as dialing a customer phone number.
